- SCIENTIFIC VISITS
- •Several scientific visits (Post Doctoral) have been performed to Ohio State University (1980), USA Nuclear Regulatory Commission (1985 - 1986), Trieste Italy (1991) and Pakistani Atomic Energy Commission (1995).

- •The main objective of these visits was to get experience in systems inspection and auditing of management systems (Quality, Safety & Environment). This led to assign me as a team leader for building quality and safety system for the Second Egyptian Research Reactor at Inshass (near Cairo), Egypt.

- TEACHING EXPERIENCE
- 1.Part-time professorship since 1983 at various Egyptian universities including American University in Cairo, Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Alexandria University and Monofiah University. Subjects taught include Materials Sciences, Computer Applications in Industry, Quality and Environment Management Systems.

- 2.Preparation and teaching professional programs for training of engineers and other professionals in industries. Subjects include Welding Engineering, Quality, Safety and environmental management systems, operation and maintenance of Power Boilers, Applications of ASME Boilers and Pressure Vessel Code, etc. Training courses were offered through Atomic Energy Authority, American University in Cairo, Arab Academy of Science and Technology at Alexandria, etc.

- RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
- I published more than 70 publications in various fields including high temperature behavior of alloys, computer applications in industry, clean hydrogen energy, environmental degradation in pressure containing equipment and systems, etc.

- CONFERENCES AND SIMINARS ORGANIZATION
- 1.General Secretary of the International Conference in Boilers and Pressure Vessels. The conference was held in 1993, 1995 and 1997.

- 2.Responsible for organizing AEA training courses and seminars in Alexandria area during the period 1992-.2004. Normally about two national, regional and or international events have been performed each month.

- INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
- 1.Certified as (American Welding Society Certified Welding Engineer), and also as a level III inspector in Nondestructive Testing according to the requirements of the American Society of Nondestructive Testing.

- 2.As a consultant for various local industries in quality and environmental management systems (ISO-9000, ISO-14001).

- 3.Offering consultation during building, operation and maintenance of the following systems:
- •Power and heating boilers according to the requirements of ASME Code Section I (Rules for Construction of Power Boilers) and Section IV ( Rules for Construction of Heating Boilers)

- •Petroleum (API 1104) and Process (ASME B31.3) piping.
