Objectives: |
- Quality Assurance (QA) in welding is controlled by the standards and codes adopted by each specific item welded. Thus the present course is prepared for interested personnel to introduce them to the most famous standards and codes including ASME, AWS, API, etc.
- Moreover, the required welding QA documents are considered.

- 2. The Application of the American Petroleum Institute Standard API 1104 for petroleum pipelines.
- 3. The Application of The American Welding Society Code for Steel Structure (AWS D1.1)
- 4. Pressure retaining Codes (ASME)
- 5. Documents for Qualification of Welders and Welding Procedures (WPS, PQR, WPQ)
- 6. Quality Assurance Guidelines for welding workshops, American and European Systems.
